About Lilt Tips

Updated July 2026

Lilt is a calm daily check-in that suggests one small, science-backed thing to help you feel a little better — and grows a garden as you go. This library shares the same tips, free, for anyone to browse.

How we choose our tips

Every tip has to pass two tests. First, is it supported by research? We draw on published work in psychology, physiology, behavioural science, and sleep and nutrition science, and we list a source under each tip so you can see where it comes from. Second, is it genuinely doable? We favour small actions you can finish in a few minutes — because the best technique in the world doesn’t help if it’s too big to start.

What Lilt is — and isn’t

Lilt is a wellbeing tool for everyday ups and downs. It is not medical or psychological advice, therapy, diagnosis, treatment, or a crisis service, and it can’t tell if you’re in danger. Our tips are general ideas, not personalised care. For anything affecting your health, please talk to a qualified professional.

If you’re struggling

If you’re feeling unsafe or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out for support right away. In the US you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Anywhere in the world, you can find a free, confidential helpline at findahelpline.com, or contact your local emergency number if someone’s life is at risk.

Who’s behind Lilt

Lilt is a small, independent project built to make caring for your wellbeing feel light. Questions, feedback, or corrections? Email [email protected] — we read everything.

Try Lilt

See how it feels: a gentle daily check-in, one small thing to try, and a garden that grows with you.

A gentle note

Lilt shares small, general wellbeing ideas drawn from published research. It isn’t medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it isn’t a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If something here doesn’t feel right for you, skip it, and talk to your doctor about anything that affects your health.

If you’re struggling, feeling unsafe, or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out for support right away. In the US you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline); elsewhere, contact a local doctor or crisis line, or find one at findahelpline.com.
